Our Pragmatic Approach

We understand that transitioning to a sustainable business model or allocating resources to social impact is a significant investment. That’s why Alteri’s approach is relentlessly pragmatic.

Every project is evaluated through a dual lens:

  • Social & Environmental Value: Building resilience and driving positive change.

  • Commercial Fortitude: Strengthening brand equity, ensuring regulatory compliance, unlocking investment potential and safeguarding long-term profitability.

At Alteri, we don’t just consult on sustainability, we help you build a future-proof business that thrives because it contributes.

Shaping Purpose into Performance

At Alteri Consultants, we believe that Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) excellence and meaningful Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) are not mere "add-ons" - they are the pillars of a modern strategic advantage. Our firm is grounded in the conviction that sustainable, locally relevant solutions must be both socially impactful and commercially viable.

We specialise in designing bespoke sustainability frameworks and CSR programs that align with our clients’ operational realities. By bridging the gap between high-level sustainability consulting and ground-level execution, we ensure tangible returns for both the business and the communities they serve.

Alteri Flower
Our mission

To lead the evolution of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Sustainability and ESG across Zimbabwe and Southern Africa by pioneering strategies that build lasting value - for communities, businesses and the environment.

We believe that a company’s success is inextricably linked to the health of the society and ecosystem in which it operates. Our mission is to bridge the gap between corporate ambition and community and environmental resilience.

Why alteri?
Alteri is latin for “other people” or “somebody else” and forms the basis for the principle of altruism, or altrui in Latin, of selflessness. We chose this name because we believe that it represents the basis for the concept of CSR and Sustainability, which involves corporations putting hard-earned profits towards towards the betterment of the environment and/or their neighbouring communities.
